Sunny Day on a Sunday
For the past few days, the weather here in Rome is so bipolar. It’s like the sun is shinning so bright today and then expect some rain the next day. Good thing Mr. Sun came out last Sunday so here’s what we did:
Yea we spent the day outdoor harvesting fresh oranges and nespole(loquats). Mom and Tita Perly had fun getting these fruits with the help of a ladder and rake. We don’t have panungkit so we just used rake. I also saw wild berries in the garden.

Mom got me these sweets last friday at Pompi because I’m like a kiddo asking her for ice cream. She also let me try this mont blanc dolci (second photo) and I liked it! I can’t put into words the way it satisfied my buds hahaha! A must-try.
Streets of Rome
Here’s a peek from our Thursday’s afternoon at Urbana and Via del Corso last May 24. I attended my class at around 3 o’clock and my mom waited for me. We also bumped into her good old friend and they had this catching up moment. Her (mom’s friend) daughters used to be my playmates when we were kids. It’s always good to see an old friend.
Went to Via del Corso to meet up my mom’s other friend and had dinner. I love dogs and it makes me smile every time I see people strolling their wonderful pets. So here are some random shots that I took while walking around the picturesque streets of Rome.
Dogs. Corner buildings. Flowers. Bus ride. Fountains. Shopping Centre.
Oh and we also saw these people doing a commercial or music video I think. Not so sure.

- Went to Urbana to attend Itailan class
- Just sit in student because their class will end this coming June
- Mom waited til I finished my class
- Met up with Tita Perly after and walked around Centro (shopping center of Rome)
- Pizza for dinner in a resto

May 20 (Sunday)
- Early bird today, class at 9.30 am
- Spent the rest of my Sunday at Tita Perly’s casa (house)
- Rainy day again

- First time to commute alone
- Good thing I didn’t get lost
- Went to my Tita Nag and Tito Russel
- Watched pinoy channel there
May 23 (Wednesday)
- Spent my Wednesday in my Tita Nag and Tito Russel’s house again
- Same as what I did last Monday :)
- While walking around our compound, I was amazed by His creation

I Finally bought adaptor for my laptop’s charger, hooray! I’ve been invisible for couple of days, but now here I am again.

It’s mom’s day off so expect my lakwatcha post every S-U-N-D-A-Y of the week. Another giro with Tita Perly and my super mom in Urbana where I will soon have my Italian language class. I’ll probably have this class on September so wish me luck. I hope I won’t mess around, hahaha! Anyway, I’m still not familiar with the place so I made sure that mom won’t be out of my sight.
